    I’m sorry but I choose to be free to live my life the way I see fit. The government is for those who do not know how to govern their own lives. I can think for my self, I don’t need others doing it for me. but to each his own.

    Yes, you all have your points. But BB keeps us safe. All we have to do is learn to catch ourselves before we commit thought crime, and we’ll be okay. Everyone in that society loves big brother, and Oceania is the biggest of all three superstates, meaning that his totalitarian government works best.

    ok let me explain your ignorance… first of all, it’s not books (plural) it’s only one book! secondly the person who is talking in the beginning did not make this video, the person talking is Raymond Kurzwell… an author among many other things. And lastly… now pay attention. “Mechanical and electrical computing machines have been around since the 19th century, but the 1930s and 1940s are considered the beginning of the modern computer” :facepalm: maybe YOU should read the book!
