I’m working on a 68 chevelle right now and I have a similar set up. Turns out high school auto shop doesn’t teach me… much at all. Two questions, do the lines need to be crossed like that? And the original cylindar ran two lines to a valve mounted near the drivers side wheel well. Does this replace that valve?

can understand puttin a proportional valve on let say something that goes forward and reverse but why brakes
