@deep – I think it’s basically a step by step and nothing more type of demonstration. What gets me is why the videos all have the same title with episode numbers.

Firestone may be different, but shops often use a guide (I forget what it’s called) that gives a labor schedule for different tasks. Then, regardless of how long it takes they charge by how many hours the book lists. If it’s quicker, then better for you.
That doesn’t mean you aren’t getting screwed (those labor schedules are debated), but I wouldn’t worry about it.

should it take an hour to do this? I had firestone do it and they charged me 80 bucks for service.

great video — one little note though — it is a good idea to put the box end of the wrenh on the nut , as the open end more often than not — will fall of under pressure of the removal ratchet— also when you see an electric impact wrech on sale — pick it up — saves a lot of skinned knuckles .

hi my lower ball joint popped out. i think it was when i jack the car and had the front tire resting on a spare tire to assure car wouldnt fall while i was working under it. is there a way to pop back in? or should i change it? its been making a squeaking noise for a while on and off though
