    and with 4 valves per cylinder you have much power, flexibilité and less consomation.

    2 intake 2 exhaust to give a much more efficient gas transfer process. also you need less lift of the valves if you use two, which allows for better thermal expansion. there is a whole host of other reasons also, but you have to realise that this is a high speed engine… so getting the charges of air and exhaust in and out is what its all about.
